It was such a blast to be in the middle of the chaos of the largest Tug-of-War on earth. The Tsunahiki Festival takes place in Okinawa Japan and represents an ancient battle between two kings. The main street is shut down as Thousands and thousands gather to pull... east against west. The main rope is about 4 feet thick with many 3 inch pulling ropes attached to the sides. This particular Tsunahiki Festival was connected to the Uchinanchu Festival which is a gathering of Okinawins from all over the world. By the way our side won the Tug-of-War... after the event everybody can cut up the rope and take pieces home.
